Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between the two modes?
"Extract page range" pulls a contiguous set of pages (e.g. pages 3–7) into one new PDF. "Split into individual pages" breaks every page into its own single-page PDF, delivered together as a zip file.
Can I extract non-contiguous pages, like 2, 5, and 9?
Not directly with the range extractor. Use "Split into individual pages" to get every page separately, then keep only the ones you need from the zip.
Does it work with password-protected PDFs?
No. The file needs to be readable without a password for the tool to load its page count and content.
