Stripe's standard pricing for US card transactions is 2.9% + $0.30 per successful charge. International cards add 1.5%, and currency conversion adds another 1%. Custom pricing is available for high-volume businesses.
How do I charge a customer so I receive a specific amount after fees?
Use the 'charge needed' result in this calculator. The formula is: charge = (desired amount + $0.30) ÷ (1 − 0.029). Note that passing on processing fees to customers may be subject to card network rules and local regulations.
Are there monthly fees with Stripe?
Stripe's pay-as-you-go plan has no monthly fees — you only pay per transaction. Stripe also offers Stripe Radar (fraud prevention) and other add-ons at additional cost, but these are not included in this calculator.
